Dr. Edward Jones is a Neuroscientist from the University of Manchester. After completing a BSC (Hons) in Biomedical Science and a Master of Research (MRes) degree in Integrative biology, Dr. Ed decided to pursue a PhD in neuroscience; specifically, the neurobiology of appetite and energy regulation. His studies focused on manipulation of the brain using advanced optogenetic techniques but casting a wide net onto the literature allowed Dr. Ed to delve deeper into the world of cannabinoids as well as the endocannabinoid system. Dr. Ed’s experience in the pharmaceutical industry soon came into play when long term friend Alex McMillan recanted his issues with finding reliable CBD products that could be trusted. The two friends put their heads together and decided this was a task made for them. From there, Dr. Ed® was born.
